True crime network Investigation Discovery has bolstered its roster of content developers with the appointment of Oxygen Media exec Erica Diaz-Gant.
Based out of Discovery’s offices in New York, Diaz-Gant joins the channel as senior director of development. She will be tasked with overseeing the network’s development slate, reporting directly into Jane Latman, Investigation Discovery’s executive VP of development.
Most recently, Diaz-Gant (pictured) served as executive-in-charge of NBCUniversal-owned Oxygen’s longest-running true crime series Snapped, and developed and produced the net’s second longest-running crime series Killer Couples.
Her development credits during her tenure at NBCUniversal include She Made Me Do It, #KillerPost and the Snapped: Notorious franchise.
Elsewhere, ID has elevated Brent Hatherill from his role of director of development to senior director. He will remain in Discovery’s Silver Spring, Maryland headquarters, reporting to VP of development Winona Meringolo.
