Investigation Discovery show to retell the story of a Conway double homicide

The true-crime network, Investigation Discovery, will be retelling the local double homicide case of Charlie and Diane Parker on its series “Unusual Suspects: Deadly Intent” at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27.

The Parkers were found shot to death in their Conway home in 2005, but investigators were initially stumped by the little evidence left behind at the crime scene and by the fact that the couple had even fewer enemies, according to a release from Investigation Discovery.

The gruesome crime gained national attention.

Richard Gagnon, who was dating the couple’s daughter, was ultimately charged with their murder after police found Charles Parker Sr.’s blood on his shoes.
