Investigation Discovery Presents An Exclusive Clip Of A New Episode Of ‘The Coroner: I Speak For The Dead’

Since it first hit the airwaves, Investigation Discovery has become the premier home for true crime stories and series told from countless different perspectives.

One of the biggest hits on the show is called The Coroner: I Speak for the Dead, which is hosted by Graham Hetrick, the coroner of Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, who recently retired after 25 years on the job. Narrated by him in the first person, Hetrick tells the stories of some of the most infamous murders in the area and the role he played in solving them.

In a press release for the new episode, which will air on Investigation Discovery on August 21, it was revealed that Hetrick will be talking about the murder of Kathryn Bishop in her Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, home.

The community is baffled as to who would want to hurt the woman fondly known as the super-grandma of the neighborhood.

In the EXCLUSIVE sneak peek posted below, Hetrick explains how the weapons used on a body can indicate it was a crime of passion. WARNING, the images are graphic, and may disturb some viewers.  Since Hetrick’s job is to determine the cause of death, he believes that he alone can speak for the deceased. It is his decision and his signature on death certificates.

Dale Bloom’s murder case will be profiled on Investigation Discovery’s popular TV show, The Coroner: I Speak For the Dead. In this episode titled “Love In Pieces,” Graham Hetrick digs deep to find out what happened to a man who was found dead in his Harrisburg, Pennsylvania home more than 20 years ago. It took investigators a while to find the true suspect. Dale Bloom’s killer was twenty-one-year-old Sean Darrington, who was later convicted and sentenced to life in prison plus 10 to 20 years. On the show, Investigation Discovery viewers will follow along as Graham Hetrick examines the body and the evidence.

The hit show, which airs Monday nights on Investigation Discovery, follows the cases that Dauphin County Coroner Graham Hetrick helped solve.

This week on The Coroner: I Speak for the Dead examines the case of career soldier Sam Gore, who was stabbed to death in his own home.

Harrisburg, Pa, and Sam Gore’s pregnant fiancée finds him dead in his home, he’s been stabbed repeatedly in a savage attack.

Dauphin County Coroner Graham Hetrick is tasked with analysing the stab wounds to see if any clues can be gained from their pattern or nature. He works out that the killer did his knife work up very close and that he might well have had some sort of close combat knife training.
