The campout in a remote patch of the Idaho mountains promised a fun time for 2-year-old DeOrr Kunz, who went on vacation with his parents, grandfather and his grandfather’s friend.

With the assurance that “Grandpa Bob” Walton would keep an eye on him, DeOrr’s mom, Jessica Mitchell, and father, who is also named DeOrr Kunz but also goes by Vernal, walked off from the campsite to go fishing on July 10, 2015 — but when the boy’s dad returned, the son they lovingly called “Little Man” was nowhere to be found.

More than two years later, the enduring mystery of what happened to the still-lost little boy is the focus of tonight’s episode of People Magazine Investigates, which airs at 10 p.m. ET on Investigation Discovery.

CeCe Dove, who also went by the name Cemia Dove but named Carl Acoff Jr., at birth, died in an Olmsted Township apartment after going to meet with a man who allegedly believed Cece Dove was a real or biologically-born female. The still-unsolved missing persons cases of Terrance Williams and Felipe Santos tonight take center stage on Investigation Discovery’s Deadline: Crime With Tamron Hall.

Williams went missing in Naples, Florida, at the age of 27 in January 2004, several months after Santos, 24, vanished in nearby Immokalee in October the previous year.

The episode sees Terrance’s mom Marcia Williams talk to Hall about how she believed she wasn’t getting enough help from police after Terrance’s disappearance — so started her own investigation.

The missing woman, also known as Michele “Shelly” Whitaker, vanished fifteen years ago. Her story made headlines and was featured on a crime show.

 

Six years after Michele Whitaker’s disappearance, she was found alive in Oregon. Gone on Investigation Discovery will recount the turmoil and anguish her family went through while trying to find her. It will also reveal what Michele Whitaker’s life was like during those years. The interviewees include Michele Whitaker’s mother, sister, and law enforcement officials.
