Two prominent murder mysteries from Upstate New York will be featured this fall on the true-crime TV series “Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall.”
Host Hall will explore the 1994 kidnapping of Heidi Allen in Oswego County, and the unsolved murder of 12-year-old Garrett Phillips in Potsdam on the Investigation Discovery Channel.
Phillips’ case will premiere Sept. 17 at 10 p.m. in the episode “Home Alone.” The Heidi Allen case will be featured in an episode called “The Vanishing Clerk,” slated to run on Oct. 22 in the same time slot.
Allen disappeared from her job at DW Convenience Store in New Haven on Easter Day, 1994.
The man convicted in her kidnapping, Gary Thibodeau, has maintained his innocence for 23 years. His attorney, public defender Lisa Peebles, presented evidence of three other possible suspects in Allen’s disappearance, but has so far not been able
