Cleveland murder case on Investigation Discovery series

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The true-crime cable channel Investigation Discovery will examine the 2014 Cleveland murder of Michael Days on the episode of “Murder Calls” premiering at 10 p.m. Monday, July 3. The episode includes re-enactment scenes with actors, as well as interviews with several people connected to the murder investigation.

The program’s description, provided by Investigation Discovery, says it begins with “the real-life 911 call a woman makes as she says a man forced his way into her Cleveland home, shot her boyfriend (Michael Days) in front of their kids, and fled. To find out who killed this young father and why, detectives will have to untangle a twisted web of jealousy, deceit and murder.”

Target manager’s murder to be profiled on TV crime series

The murder of the Target store manager will be profiled tonight in a new TV series “Murder Calls” on Investigation Discovery. In the episode, viewers will hear the 911 calls Williams made inside her closet before she was killed in November 2013 by accused gunmen Jonathan Banks, James Calhoun and James Sims. The trio received life sentences in December.

Murder Chose Me: Season Two Renewal for Investigation Discovery Series

Murder Chose Me TV show on Investigation Discovery: season 2 renewal (canceled or renewed?)

You can stop worrying that it has been cancelled. Investigation Discovery has renewed its Murder Chose Me TV show for a second season. The series features retired Shreveport homicide detective Rod Demery, whose own mother was murdered when he was just three years old.

Jupiter Entertainment produces Murder Chose Me for Investigation Discovery. Jupiter’s Todd Moss executive produces, and Erich Sturm co-executive produces. Lorna Thomas executive produces for ID.

Deadline has confirmed the Murder Chose Me season two renewal is for 10 episodes, which will premiere in 2018.

Minn. teens murder case to serve as pilot episode for new TV series

The series “Hear No Evil” follows on the ID series “See No Evil,” which uses footage from surveillance cameras along with documentary interviews of the people involved, as well as actors to reconstruct the events depicted in criminal cases.

For “Hear No Evil” the series is using interviews, dramatic recreations and the recordings made by Smith in the shooting deaths of two Little Falls teenagers.

Smith is serving two concurrent life sentences, without the possibility of parole, for killing the teenagers who broke into his home in Little Falls in 2012.

Smith, 68, was convicted by a jury in Morrison County District Court of first-degree murder in the shooting deaths of Haile Kifer and Nick Brady, who broke into his home in Little Falls on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, 2012.

Smith, a retired security engineer with the U.S. State Department and Little Falls native, said he was defending himself.
